Color-critical displays have been around for ages — you’ve just had to look really hard and break out some serious change in order to claim one. Now, however, HP’s aiming to make a professional display that’s actually somewhat affordable for the layman, and that monitor is the DreamColor LP2480xz. Checking in at 30-inches diagonal, this LED-backlit monster provides “a range of more than 1 billion colors” and “achieves more than 64 times the colors available on mainstream LCDs.” It was designed in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and comes bundled with the HP DreamColor engine software and calibration kit. A year and a half ago, Bill Gates himself announced the TouchSmart PC chunk. This time, a simple press release will have to do the job as HP announces the $1,299 TouchSmart IQ504 (PC) and $1,499 TouchSmart IQ506 (PC with TV tuner). Arguably, the thinner, touchier, bigger, 22-inch all-in-ones deserve better. Inside the 2.6-inch thick chassis you’ll find a 500GB disk, 256MB of NVIDIA GeForce 9300 M HS HD graphics, 802.11n WiFi, and 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo T5850 processor thumping through the cycles. One of Samsung’s latest offering has finally been “announced” by the company, and we’re guessing the timing here isn’t coincidental. Nevertheless, the Windows Mobile 6.1-powered i900 Omnia features quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE support, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, a built-in accelerometer, WiFi module, USB port, FM tuner, Bluetooth, 3.2-inch 400 x 240 resolution display and a 5-megapixel camera (with smile detection and geotagging).

The good folks at HTC left this little gem (pun totally intended) on our doorstep today, but as cool as it sounds to have one of the world’s great Windows Mobile torchbearers just drop off its hottest new handset to us like it’s an extra large pepperoni and mushroom, it’s a bittersweet gift at best. Why? The Touch Diamond lacks both HSDPA 850 / 1900 and GSM 850 in its current incarnation, leaving it to cling to what 1900MHz EDGE towers it can find. That makes it an untouchable product for all but the hardest-core North Americans who are willing to throw both high-speed data and maximum signal coverage out of the window just to be able to put the pinnacle of WinMo 6.1 engineering in their pocket. Are you in that one percent? Or perhaps even better, are you in Europe where the usable 3G flows like running water?

Far from being the first dual-mode handset we’ve seen (heck, it’s not even the first WiMAX-friendly dualie), Qsida’s recently showcased slider is still quite intriguing. The currently unnamed cellphone supports both 802.16e WiMAX as well as GSM / GPRS / EDGE networks, and just in case you’re hankering for another way to get connected, there’s a built-in WiFi module too. Reportedly, the smartphone is a test device used in the M-Taiwan initiative to promote WiMAX, and aside from handling voice calls via (almost) any flavor of wireless protocol, you’ll also find Windows Mobile 6.1 running the show. Granted, this particular unit wasn’t down with 3G, but a spokesperson was adamant that such a handset would be added to its portfolio eventually.

While it’s been spotted at Computex for a couple days now, we got our hands on an official picture of the new Shuttle XP19 widescreen touchscreen LCD display. We also dug up some spec bits for you: you’re looking at a 19-inch Wa-Si TFT active matrix screen, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 170-degree viewing angles. Oh - and it all comes in a shiny looking metal case.

Netmeter is a very well known software for windows users used to measure the data transfer amount and speed while using the internet. I was doubting from a long time that Netmeter is not accurate. It has some bugs even in the latest version 1.1.3 . I doubted that it does not provides the accurate data transfer speed. So i regularly had a look on the maximum download and upload speeds of my every internet session.

Last week opera mini 4.1 final was launched and this is the most bugless version of of Opera
mini. Opera Mini 4 had a whole bagfull of bugs in it like the same page reloading bug which
caused the same page to reload when you clicked a link on a web page. This bug has been
resolved a lot but it still appears sometimes still.
