Last week opera mini 4.1 final was launched and this is the most bugless version of of Opera

mini. Opera Mini 4 had a whole bagfull of bugs in it like the same page reloading bug which

caused the same page to reload when you clicked a link on a web page. This bug has been

resolved a lot but it still appears sometimes still.

Many People face lots of trouble when their mobile phone runs out of battery. So here are some of the tricks which will help you to increase the battery life for some more minutes so that you can make that important phone call in urgency.

• Set your phone to go to sleep mode in 10 seconds or less .

• Do not use screensavers or animation in the menus as they consume lots of battery power

• Use a black theme if possible because black theme consumes less battery than any other color

• Keep your phone in offline mode if you only want to listen to music using it and no phone calls

• Charge the battery until the the progress bar stops. Phones might show full battery level bars  after a  few minutes of charge but full charging takes some more time.

• Keep the phone switched off when not in use for long time periods and remove the battery from the device to prevent useless battery wear.

Some days back my friend’s PC got restarted when he was burning a rewritable cd and then his cd became useless as whenever he inserted the cd on his windows xp system his system got hanged. So an idea came in my mind can we erase the cd using any linux distro???

I had kubuntu installed in my PC so i booted kubuntu and then inserted the disc in the DVD-RW drive. Fortunately kubuntu detected the cd-rw without any problem and i erased the disc using K3B cd burning application which came bundled in kubuntu and voila …. my friend was able to use his cd in windows xp without any problem.

So if ever you face such kind of problem then give linux a try as it will solve your problem for free
