Bugs in Netmeter 1.1.3

Netmeter is a very well known software for windows users used to measure the data transfer amount and speed while using the internet. I was doubting from a long time that Netmeter is not accurate. It has some bugs even in the latest version 1.1.3 . I doubted that it does not provides the accurate data transfer speed. So i regularly had a look on the maximum download and upload speeds of my every internet session.

I always found strange maximum data transfer speeds. But they were not enough to prove that netmeter is wrong Because netmeter has enough reputation all over the world . Couple of days back i got a very strong proof that netmeter is inaccurate. It showed 8.30MBps download speed on a gprs connection using Nokia N73 ME. Its 8.30 Mega Bytes per second :o not mega bits per second which is impossible on a gprs connection :)) . Here is the screenshot which proves what i found
